History of this Vehicle

At about age one week I was brought home by my parents in the 1928 Chrysler 72 which I am now rebuilding. In those days it carried its original sedan body. Now it is on its way towards completion as a vanden plas style sports tourer in the spirit of the Chrysler 72 roadsters which followed the 4.5 litre Bentley of Barnato and Rubin(1st) and the 4.8 litre Stutz(2nd) into 3^rd and 4^th places at Le Mans in 1928.
