History of this Vehicle Chassis No 6020511, Engine No when purchased 2133, currently 1933 12hp engine possibly No. 2138. I would be most interested in information about the different 6 cylinder 12 and 14hp engines – of the 4 I have, there are 3 different types .I also have another 12hp block the same, and another very different bare block which has no fins on the side, no cooling to the centre bearing and pinch bolt fixing for the starter motor, and I have no idea what year it might be. This car started as a 1933 9hp of unknown form or origins built into a sports car in an upstairs flat at Bondi Junction by Alec Mcpherson, but unfortunately the story of its descent to the ground is unknown; the late Rex Turner was going to tell me, but never got round to it. This was about 1950.The car may have competed in hillclimbs and at Mt Druitt as McPherson also competed in a Brooklands Riley. In about 1959 Neville Dickson (living in Putney) bought the car from someone in Seaforth, and fitted lights and mudguards; the latter were made up by Guy Buckingham (of Nota fame). Whether the person in Seaforth was McPherson or not is unknown. The car was used every day, registered CDB 827
